This Honda sedan has already graced our neighboring countries Thailand and Indonesia, though Civic in Indonesia is quite different from Thai-spec sedan as it has got only one variant 1.5-litre Turbo. In the Philippines market, this new Civic will arrive as a Thai-spec model with a choice of two engines; 1.5-litre i-VTEC Turbocharged and 1.8-litre naturally aspirated engine on range-topping variant. While the turbo variant is capable of pouring out the total output of 173hp/220 Nm, its NA mill churns out a maximum power of 141 hp along with the peak torque of 174 Nm. 2016 Civic will also shed off the boring look and features all-new and classy design. Thick chrome front grille will replace the old grille and its sharp LED lights enhances its premium look. All-new feeling flows inside the cabin also with the plush and luxurious seats, 8-way powered driver's seat, 7-inch touchscreen supporting Apple CarPlay and wide range of other comforting as well as entertainment features. The new Civic is also packed with the standard safety kit and hosts a range of Modulo accessories. Honda Philippines has also revealed an official price for both of its variants:
Civic 2016: PhP 1.1 million
Turbocharged RS: PhP 1.3 million
